She's dubbed the Maria Sharapova of China's sharpshooting team. Whenever 26-year-old Du Li puts her air rifle to her shoulder, there's a good chance she'll shoot a perfect score of 400, making her the favorite to repeat in the 10-meter competition she won in Athens. With her event taking place on Aug. 9, the first day of competition, the pressure is on her to grab the Games' first gold. She has endorsement deals with eye products maker Beijing Haoshili Technology Development, Nestlé, and Lenovo.
