The Teen Titans have come a long way since their introduction in 1964 as a team of sidekicks to bigger heroes. Originally comprised of Robin (Batman's pal), Aqualad, and Kid Flash, the team was expanded to include the Amazon Donna Troy, also known as Wonder Girl. As adults, Robin, Kid Flash, and Wonder Girl (known as Nightwing, Flash, and Donna Troy, respectively) keep San Francisco safe from the demon Trigon with the help of their teammates Cyborg, Beast Boy, Starfire, and Raven.
