The indoor volleyball competition will be played in this 40,000-square-meter exhibition space in West London. Earls Court first opened its doors in 1937. Since then it has held hundreds of events each year including exhibitions, sports, conferences, and live music. For the 2012 games, the building's interior will be converted into a 15,000-seat arena accommodating 18,000 spectators.
