Roosevelt is best known for harnessing radio to explain his Depression-era policies and World War II decisions to millions of Americans in a series of “Fireside Chats” throughout his presidency. But FDR also used radio in campaigns, including his “Forgotten Man” address in 1932, which laid out his prescriptions for dealing with the Great Depression.
