The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is more than holding its own in the upper luxury segment, which is down this year 17.9% through August to 71,024, according to AutoData. Besides lease deals like a current $599 per month offer on some 2009 models, the E-Class could also be benefiting from strong sales of an all-new C-class, which is bringing traffic into Mercedes-Benz showrooms.
