Web site: www.hbs.edu
Time to find elements: 2 minutes, 45 seconds
The Upside: Harvard's site manages to offer an abundance of useful information in a format that is attractive and easy to navigate. An online campus tour, for example, gives it an interactive layer while creating a real sense of the school's physical atmosphere. At the same time, the site doesn't skimp on the basics: Just about all of the financial aid, curriculum, and application information one could want is simple to find, and if anything's missing, prospective students can call the admissions director—her contact information, and a personalized message, is front and center.
The Downside: An admissions checklist, which can be essential to organizing one's workload when applying to school, was hard to find.
