Best known for his courtside antics at Dallas Mavericks games, Cuban has been one of the few entrepreneurs trying to rethink the way movies are released, experimenting with making them available on cable TV, DVD, and the Internet during (or immediately after) their theatrical run. Cuban's chain of art house cinemas, Landmark Theatres, has also been one of the most aggressive adopters of digital projection equipment.
