When former JPMorgan Chase (JPM) vice-chairman Geoffrey Boisi began the National Leadership Roundtable on Church Management in 2005 with the goal of providing modern-day management savvy to the ailing Catholic Church, he enlisted some of the most prominent people in business. At an annual meeting at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the group offers advice on how dioceses and parishes can improve employee recruiting and retention, finances, communications, and strategy.
