The figure skater captured the only gold medal for the U.S. in the 1968 Winter Olympics, a feat that earned her nationwide recognition and adulation. While skating professionally, Fleming, now 60, settled in Northern California with her husband, Dr. Greg Jenkins. Now they own Fleming Jenkins Vineyards & Winery, whose limited output of reds range from $38 to $50 a bottle. "It takes years and years of practice to perfect figure skating as I did," she says. "It's the same in the wine business."
