From London to Ljubljana, companies are fretting about Europe's drift into recession. Financial volatility, sagging real estate markets, and expanding corporate debt are only three of the problems keeping CEOs up at night. As in any economic crisis, winners and losers will arise from the current economic uncertainty. In its 19th annual European Cities Monitor, real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield lays out which European cities remain most business-friendly across the continent. Based on interviews with senior managers from 500 of Europe's top companies, the rankings are based on everything from access to financial markets and telecom services to transport links and quality of life.
