Yenn Wong is the mastermind behind JIA, the Hong Kong boutique hotel designed by French design guru Philippe Starck. After JIA Hong Kong's success upon opening in 2004, Wong opened JIA Shanghai in 2007. On top of her hotel endeavors, Wong also started Graze, a garden restaurant in a black and white colonial-style house in Singapore, in 2006; and Kha, an indoor-outdoor restaurant in the heart of Singapore's HortPark, in 2008. Both Wong and her hotels are recipients of awards from Condé Nast and the 2006 Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards. Wong graduated from the University of Western Australia with a degree in marketing and international economics.
