Americans downed a record-breaking 745 million gallons, or 2.47 gallons of wine per capita, last year. And, just as the success of the iPod spawned hundreds of accessories, the growth of the wine market has led to a booming business of wine-related gadgets, and specialty retailers such as the Wine Enthusiast and International Wine Accessories are benefiting. From fancy corkscrews to "breathing" glasses, there are no shortage of tools for oenophiles. Jessie Scanlon takes a look at just some of the world's wine gadgets, including new favorites, old friends, and some that are just plain weird.
