What kinds of businesses does your angel group invest in?
We do deals in tech and energy and digital media and a number of other areas. And the company should be in Texas. Investors want to drop in on their investments.
Given the turmoil in the markets and the economic downturn, what specifics are you looking for now?
As for what has changed, maybe you pick the least risky [deals] which means the most experienced management teams and the companies closest to having customers and generating revenue. And companies that have the shortest sales cycles are probably more attractive than those with long cycles.
