What kinds of businesses does your angel group invest in?
We invest in a wide variety of companies from consumer retail to high tech.
We tend to invest in companies we can travel to, from Orange County up to Santa Barbara.
Given the turmoil in the markets and the economic downturn, what specifics are you looking for now?
The turmoil we've seen over the past month means it is going to be harder for the follow on rounds to happen. And the exits are going to come later. So that puts downward pressure on pre-money valuations.
