What kinds of businesses does your angel group invest in?
We are looking for creative, passionate, flexible entrepreneurs. Regardless of whether it is consumer, telecommunications, or Web 2.0, what we need are managers who are fast on their feet and who can deal with the complexity of the changing environment and who can adapt. If a big contract falls through or you can't get venture capital, you still have to save your company.
Given the turmoil in the markets and the economic downturn, what specifics are you looking for now?
Right now I'd go with an experienced manager rather than a brilliant new manager.
