What kinds of businesses does your angel group invest in?
We are a large group of individual investors and we tend to invest in Georgia-based, technology-oriented companies that are pre-revenue or have just a bit of revenue. We like to have some experience on the management team although we will back first-timers. And we like to see proprietary technology that is somewhat defensible.

Given the turmoil in the markets and the economic downturn, what specifics are you looking for now?
I'd say if you are in the middle of fund-raising, try to complete it as quickly as you can. Everything is so unknown right now.
