Why it's unique: Rejaw aims to take responding to others' posts to the extreme: Real-time conversations based on each post. So, for example, you might discover that your friend is "Deciding what movie to see" and start chatting about your recommendations. "In some extreme cases, we've seen 1,000-plus comments in a single conversation, within an hour," says founder Kenn Ejima. For now, that's the exception. Most posts have no replies.
How it plans to create revenue: Rejaw was launched as a subsidiary of Infoteria, a Japanese software company. The site is still focused on solidifying its user base, but Ejima sees "great opportunities for premium service in private groups."
