Competing online patient support groups for neurology. BrainTalk went live in 1993, but shut down for three months in 2006; while it was offline NeuroTalk started up. Both sites are somewhat controversial, with much user griping about overbearing site moderators. BrainTalk is a nonprofit, while NeuroTalk is owned by Psych Central, a private company.
