Guns N' Roses
Guns N' Roses devotees have been waiting 17 years for the band's sixth studio album, Chinese Democracy. Unfortunately, its eventual release in November wasn’t worth the wait. First-week sales came in at a mere 261,000 copies. Whether or not the tracks on the album were good (they weren't) the stars never seemed destined to align for the record. The colossal flop was blamed on everything from an exclusive deal with retailer Best Buy (BBY) to front man Axl Rose's refusal to grant media interviews.
