At September's Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association Expo in Denver, Sharp (6753.T) wowed the public with its latest innovation, a super-thin, 65-inch LCD TV. The limited-edition set may not look like it's hiding much behind its mere 1-inch-thick profile, but it features Internet connectivity and an RGB LED backlight that improves color accuracy. The TV may even appeal to green types: It's designed to adjust screen brightness based on surroundings, a feature that may help you save enough on power bills to pay off the super-expensive set.
