Best and Worst on Climate Change
A new study by Ceres, an alliance of investors and environmentalists, looked at the climate change policies of 63 of the world's largest tech and consumer companies. Ceres assigned each a score on a 100-point scale, weighing a company's performance in five areas: board oversight, management execution, public disclosure, emissions accounting, and strategic planning and performance.
Results show that some companies are making big strides toward reducing emissions and creating more environmentally friendly products and services. Yet the companies have a long way to go.
