Jobs Cut: 800

Chicago aerospace giant Boeing (BA) said on Nov. 19 that it plans to cut about 800 jobs at a facility in Wichita next year. Boeing says the cuts result from some programs ending and a delay in a U.S. Air Force program to replace aging air-refueling tankers. The layoffs will affect managers, as well as salaried and hourly workers.
