As a chemical firm whose main customers include the troubled automotive and construction industries, PPG Industries (PPG) has had a rough couple years, says Morningstar (MORN) analyst Annie Sorich. Yet despite these difficulties, the firm manages to generate strong cash flow, she notes. Also, PPG has more than $1 billion in cash, almost three times last year's dividend payments.
