On Dec. 17, Motorola (MOT) announced it would eliminate 2009 salary increases in many markets and permanently freeze U.S. pension plans. Co-CEOs Greg Brown and Sanjay Jha, meanwhile, voluntarily forfeited bonuses in 2008 and took a 25% decrease in base salary in 2009.
