Rolex "Paul Newman" Daytona (vintage), Ref. 6262

Although not its official name, watch enthusiasts call this Rolex model the "Paul Newman" Daytona. There are several theories why the actor's name became attached to this watch, including a rumor that he wore it in the 1969 Indy car racing film Winning. (Watch experts say he actually wore another kind of Rolex in the film.)

Even so, it is a coveted timepiece. "When they sell, prices are between $65,000 to $80,000 for excellent examples," says watch collector Paul Boutros. "For those in less excellent condition, they don't sell."
