The dapper managing director of M&M, one of the world's largest manufacturers of tractors, has taken his $7 billion group global. The Harvard Business School-educated Mahindra made the Scorpio, India's first indigenously built SUV, in 2002, and in 2007 he teamed with Renault to launch the Logan. Although he lost to Tata Motors in his bid for Ford's Jaguar and Land Rover, his IT services company, Tech Mahindra, on Apr. 13 emerged as the biggest bidder for Satyam Computer Services.
