Naik is the head of the Mumbai-based blue chip engineering and construction company, Larsen & Toubro. As a contractor, L&T is synonymous with all the big manufacturing and utility projects in India. It has tied up with Westinghouse to build nuclear reactors, whenever India starts generating civilian nuclear power. He also wants L&T Technologies, the group's IT subsidiary to be one of the conglomerate's leading businesses.
