The Pacific Gas & Electric (PCG) headquarters dates back to 1924 but was substantially rebuilt after the 1989 earthquake. The work combined two adjacent addresses into a single structure covering 470,000 square feet. The operating subsidiary of PG&E boasts on-site food-waste composting, a first in commercial property in San Francisco.
