Fluor's (FLR) $40 million headquarters sits on 26 acres, much of it planted with drought-resistant grasses. The 150,000-sq.-ft. structure, clad in Texas limestone, has locker rooms and bicycle racks to encourage employees to pedal to work. For those who drive, the engineering firm put up a two-story lot, which minimized surface space needed for parking.
