How'd he get so rich? One of the world’s most successful investors, the so-called Sage of Omaha is also one of the world’s richest men. A precocious investor, he graduated from Wharton and Columbia Business School, and made his first million by the age of 32. His holding company, Berkshire Hathaway, whose shares trade as of this writing at more than $92,000 apiece, has positions in such diverse companies as Geico, Swiss Re, Washington Post Co., Goldman Sachs, and Coca-Cola. Despite his great wealth and influence, Buffett is a remarkably unaffected man who still lives in the same house in Omaha he bought for $31,500 in 1957.
