Wraparound Milwaukee

Typically, children and youth with mental-health needs receive counseling that may not be customized to their individual circumstances, often by different agencies and providers with no clear coordination of efforts. Wraparound Milwaukee attempts to improve on these practices by assigning a single care manager to oversee treatment and services. In addition, the program engages family members in treatment decision-making, something traditionally left solely to counselors. (Seen here are recent participants.)
