But the Queen City, as it's known, still boasts 129 employers posting entry-level positions on AfterCollege.com, which counts for something. Bank of America (BAC), Nucor (NUE), and Duke Energy (DUK), three of the state's top five Fortune 500 companies, are based in Charlotte.
