Merage students learn the importance of teamwork from fifty feet above ground, working together to cross the ropes in one of their core courses. Merage tries constantly to reinvent traditional classroom techniques, setting first-year students to work in teams in varied situations. It's not uncommon to see Merage students putting their feet in the Pacific on a school day; professors are known to apply classroom theories about organizational behavior and operations at the beach. Merage's faculty uses a variety of unique projects to engage students in the curriculum.
Team experiences enable students to experience personally the healthy diversity of their class. Females constitute 37% of the class and 40% comes from other countries.
