Merage School of Business

Since its founding in 1965, the University of California, Irvine has offered the strengths of a major research university in an incomparable Southern California location. With more than 24,000 students, 1,400 faculty, and 8,100 staff, UC Irvine is among the fastest-growing campuses in the University of California system.

The small Merage School of Business takes after the larger university. Although relatively young, Merage is already known for its emphasis on strategic innovation and personalized learning. It currently enrolls just over 200 students in the full-time MBA program and offers several additional degree options, including a part-time MBA, executive MBA, health-care executive MBA, and a PhD program. In the fall of 2008, the school enrolled 150 students in new undergraduate programs that offer a BA in business administration and a BS in information management. With fresh programs, a brand-new name, and a shining campus, UC Irvine's breakout school is one to watch as it establishes itself in the B-school world.
