If you're looking for a good, safe job, it makes sense these days to go green. The Obama Administration, which is directing billions of dollars to the environmental sector, projects that by 2016, green jobs will grow by 52% from 2000 levels. Green jobs, which do not necessarily require a science degree, range from environmental scientist to nonprofit executive for a wildlife or pro-transit advocacy group.
