While the message here is a bit more on target, making the assumption that Dennis Hopper is the voice of an entire generation is a leap of Grand Canyon proportions. Never a leading man as an actor, always on the fringes of Hollywood, and generally playing psychologically wounded characters, he may be interesting and iconoclastic, but, again, does that make him an aspirational figure? Not really. And why is he yelling at me about my dreams?
