The Herman Miller Materials Program establishes a new paradigm for designing with materials. It was designed to recognize the relationship between experiencing and understanding materials and eliminating wasteful practices. The program consists of two equally important components: physical samples that can be seen and touched, and a Web site to explore and understand more than 1,600 materials.
