The 2007 remodeling of Ripe's offices used low-emission, fume-free paint and sustainable materials such as bamboo flooring. Adrienne Spahr, CEO of consulting firm Green Living Consulting, suggested having one plant for every 50 square feet of office space and eliminating the use of toxic cleaning solutions.
