United Linen (@UnitedLinen) is a regional restaurant uniform and laundry service based in Bartlesville, Okla. The company was born at the height of the Great Depression when a door-to-door salesman and his wife started taking in laundry to make ends meet. When an unexpected blizzard hit last winter and phones went down, the company tweeted to let customers in three states know when their fresh linens would arrive on the weather-impeded schedule.
