Flexible Displays: Vaio Laptop Prototype
Sony engineers showed how three existing products—a Vaio laptop, e-book Reader, and Walkman portable media player—would look if they had a flexible organic light-emitting-diode screen. The mock-ups, made of an inedible plant-based composite, demonstrated that next-generation materials and display technology could make gadgets more lightweight and shock-resistant.
