Japanese Companies Show Off Their Coolest Cars

For Japanese automakers, the Tokyo Motor Show, which opened to the media on Oct. 21, is the time to dazzle the folks at home with weird and wonderful concept cars. Although most recession-weary foreign automakers are staying away from this year's show, the biggest names in Japan are still showing off their latest. Those include plenty of electric vehicles, fuel-cell cars, and other environmentally friendly autos. There are also advance peaks of eye-catching sports cars like Honda's (HMC) CR-Z hybrid, which goes on sale next year, and Toyota's (TM) FT-86, available in 2011, and a Lexus supercar.
