CEO Kevin Plank has slashed his base salary from $500,000 to $26,000, the approximate salary he earned when he started Under Armour in 1996. He also received no stock option grants for the year. Indeed, he has no options. Plank and the compensation committee agreed that his role as founder and majority shareholder in the company were sufficient motivation without additional equity grants. His perks amount to $4,002, mainly in the form of supplemental disability insurance provided to all executive officers.
