Like Shattuck, Black and Decker CEO Nolan D. Archibald recently passed on a portion of his compensation package. Archibald, who negotiated the November merger of his company with Stanley Works, is taking a pass on more than $20 million in change-in-control payments and tax gross-ups he was entitled to receive.
