He was looking for something more formal and organized. New York's Metamorphic Ventures, which invests in services that help digital media companies convert all those page views into money, proved the answer. Metamorphic is sort of a cross between an investor and an incubator, housing a shared facility for portfolio companies that also share a CFO.
