The center, a collaboration of the Graduate School of Design and Harvard Kennedy School, is a source of information on housing and community development issues for researchers, government officials, and industry leaders. Before coming to the center, Retsinas was Assistant Secretary for Housing–Federal Housing Commissioner at the U.S. Housing & Urban Development Dept. and also was director of the Office of Thrift Supervision.
