Listing price: $90 million
Recently reduced from $100 million, the 2,175-acre Rancho Dos Pueblos offers an ocean side and a mountainside divided by a highway and includes a private sandy beach compound, more than 15 homes and residences, and barns. The main residence, Casa Grande, was built around 1920 with five bedrooms, each with a view of the surrounding countryside, and seven baths. The historic property, located 16 miles west of Santa Barbara, started as a 15,000-acre land grant from the Mexican government to early pioneer and Irish immigrant Nicholas A. Den in the 1840s. The section north of Highway 101 is also being sold alone for $19 million, says broker Kerry Mormann.
