Speedo Olympic Swimsuits

Michael Phelps swam to a record-setting eight gold medals at the 2008 Olympics wearing a Speedo (WRC) swimsuit. That suit was designed with the help of supercomputers and software designed by Ansys. Virtual modeling let Speedo design a suit that helped Phelps shave precious time off his laps, says Tom Waller, head of Speedo's research and development facility, Aqualab.
