According to a report cited by brandchannel.com, Hunts is the ketchup most often used by families with incomes of less than $20,000. That’s because Hunt’s average unit price is a full dollar lower than Heinz’s, the sector leader. Now owned by ConAgra Foods, Hunt’s accounts for 15 percent of total ketchup sales.
