B&G Foods, in Parsippany, N.J., however, also owns a wide range of well-known brands, including Polaner, Emeril’s, Red Devil, and Vermont Maid. B&G acquired Ortega in 2003. Its salsa commands just over 2 percent of the total U.S. salsa market.
