Manchester is New Hampshire's largest city as well as one of the biggest in New England. The area's biggest employers are Elliot Hospital, Catholic Medical Center, and Verizon, according to the Manchester Economic Development Office website. High-end homes can be found in Bedford and the city's North End.

Note: Manchester was the only MSA surveyed in New Hampshire. The state also has smaller Micropolitan Statistical Areas and parts are in the Boston MSA.
